HR professionals needed for childcare research
Birmingham City Council and the children 's charity Coram are seeking out HR professionals to assist with some research on childcare in Birmingham.
They charity need the help of HR professionals to hear an employer 's perspective on how the workplace has changed since the start of the pandemic, how parents and carers are managing and what the future looks like for the workplace.
Through this childcare sufficiency assessment, Birmingham City Council wants to ensure that there are enough accessible, affordable, flexible and high-quality childcare places to enable parents and carers to work, study and train. Good quality childcare can help to relieve stress and give parents and carers the time they need to work.
Kevin Caulfield (pictured), Childcare Sufficiency and Early Education entitlement strategy manager, explained: “This is an opportunity to help find out where Birmingham can improve its childcare offer to meet families ' needs and help families balance their work and caring responsibilities. ”
