Lights switch-on marks start of busy festive programme
Thousands of residents and visitors flocked to see the annual Christmas Lights Switch On and Fireworks at the Burton Market Hall and Place.
The event marked the start of a wide range of festive events set to take place over the coming weeks.
The programme includes a host of events at Burton Market Hall and Place including Grub Clubs, a range of festive markets and a festive family day.
Christmas in Burton events still to come include:
- 6 December: Winter Union Concert (The Brewhouse Arts Centre)
- 9 December: Festive Fun in the Market (Burton Market Hall)
- 16-23 December: The Christmas Toyshop Mystery (The Brewhouse Arts Centre)
- 16-17 December: Christmas Food Festival (Burton Market Place)
- 16-17 December: Christmas Craft Market (Burton Market Hall)
- 21 December: Christmas Grub Club (Burton Market Hall)
