Marketing agency EDGE Creative raised over £1,700 for Birmingham Hospice during 2025 - the charity’s first year as the agency’s inaugural Charity of the Year.

And, following a year of team-led fundraising and close collaboration, EDGE Creative has confirmed that Birmingham Hospice will remain its Charity of the Year throughout 2026.

As a marketing agency in Birmingham working closely with businesses across the region, EDGE Creative chose to support Birmingham Hospice in recognition of the vital role it plays for individuals and families within the local community.

Throughout 2025, the EDGE team took part in a range of fundraising activities, combining hospice-organised events with their own initiatives.

These included participation in the Chocolate Run, alongside office cake sales, charity raffles held at EDGE’s quarterly networking events, and clothing drives supported by the team and wider business network.

Together, these efforts raised £1,720.50 to support the hospice’s ongoing work.

Louise Pinnington, EDGE creative founder, said: “Fundraising has genuinely united our whole team, and we’re excited to maintain that momentum as we continue to support a charity that has a profound impact on our local community for such a worthy cause.

“Our recent exposure to the charity’s work has given us clear insight into how these funds make a meaningful difference to patients and their families.”

Birmingham Hospice supports individuals living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and loved ones, providing compassionate medical, emotional, and psychological care across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Fundraising plays a vital role in enabling the hospice to continue supporting the more than 670 patients they care for on average each day across their services.

“We’re looking forward to building on what we started last year,” Louise added.

“Fundraising has become something the whole team feels connected to, and we’re excited to keep that going while continuing to support a charity that does so much for our local community.”
