In the run-up to Christmas, Birmingham-based full-service marketing agency Leopard Co is spreading festive cheer and giving back to the community - and four-legged friends - through a duo of heartwarming charity initiatives.

Together with Birmingham Dogs Home, the agency is calling out to the public to help man’s best friend, by donating £5 to buy a rescue dog their very own Christmas dinner to be enjoyed at the ‘Festive Feast’, bringing warmth and celebration to those waiting for their forever homes.

Additionally, Leopard Co is also supporting Samaritan’s Purse’s ‘Operation Christmas Child’, with a team “lunch & pack” session to fill shoeboxes with gifts for children in need around the world.

This Christmas, Leopard Co is on a mission to make the festive period feel brighter for those who need it most - whether near or far.

In collaboration with Birmingham Dogs Home, Leopard Co is hosting a magical Christmas feast for the shelter’s resident dogs – many of whom have faced hardship, abandonment, or trauma.

Over the past year, the charity has welcomed more than 2,000 dogs through its doors, offering them safety, care and a second chance at life. With daily running costs exceeding £6,000, the shelter relies heavily on public support to continue its vital work.

To help raise awareness and drive donations, the festive event will feature a joyful banquet complete with treats, toys and decorations – many of which have been generously donated by local and further-afield businesses. It’s a celebration of compassion, community and the incredible efforts of the Birmingham Dogs Home team, and a moment of pure joy for the animals who deserve it most.

“Christmas is a time for compassion, and we wanted to extend that to every corner of our community - including the paws that need it most,” said Anthony Tattum, co-founder of Leopard Co.

“As ongoing advocates of the pet sector, we’re thrilled to partner with Birmingham Dogs Home to create a truly special day for the animals and the amazing team who care for them year-round.”

Rachel Frost, Events & Community Fundraising manager, from Birmingham Dogs Home added: “This initiative means the world to us, and we’ve been wanting to bring it to life for a couple of years now, so when Leopard Co reached out, we knew it was the perfect opportunity. Seeing our dogs enjoy a festive meal and feel the love from the community will incredibly moving. We’re grateful to Leopard Co for their generosity and support.”

Alongside Leopard Co’s Christmas charity campaign, the entire team is uniting for “Operation Shoebox” – a heartfelt initiative to bring festive joy to those facing hardship this winter. Each shoebox is carefully packed with essentials, toys and seasonal surprises, and thoughtfully tailored to a recipients age and gender to ensure a personal touch.

From warm socks and toiletries to handwritten notes and treats, the boxes are designed to offer comfort, dignity and a moment of joy during often lonely periods.

This initiative reflects Leopard Co’s deep-rooted commitment to social responsibility and the power of collective action, with every team member playing a hands-on role in giving back to the community.

Leopard Co invites the public to support the campaign by donating, sharing the story, or contributing to Birmingham Dogs Home directly by donating £5 towards a pups Christmas dinner.
