Marketing firm embarks on sustainable journey with dedicated eco-friendly office build

Staffordshire-based design and digital marketing company inLIFE is embarking on a sustainable journey by constructing an eco-friendly office space.

The decision to shift towards a sustainable office comes after 15 years of operation, during which inLIFE enjoyed a spacious and well-equipped office building.

They had already transitioned all their hosting solutions to be provided by 100 per cent renewable energy, however, the COVID-19 pandemic prompted a re-evaluation of the way the company operates. This lead to a realisation that remote work was not only feasible but efficient, and good for the environment.

inLIFE aims to become a completely off-grid, less-than-carbon-neutral company, wholly sustainable, and not reliant on simply carbon offsetting.

The aim is to lead the way for other businesses to follow in this new age of working. By combining digital communication, with traditional personal connections whilst at the same time preserving the environment.

The entire construction project is documented through a video series available on inLIFE's social media and YouTube channel @inlifedesign, reflecting their commitment to sustainable practices while fostering personal relationships.

David Whitehouse, inLIFE's owner, said: "This project is about creating a sustainable workplace and honoring my family's history on this land. We aim to make a real difference in our community, reduce our carbon footprint, and show that sustainability is the future for all businesses."
