A public relations firm has created a series of new marketing materials for Whittington Heath Golf Club near Lichfield as it celebrates its new clubhouse and newly created holes due to HS2 cutting through part of the course 's original location.

Lichfield 's Townhouse Communications has created a promotional video, drone aerial flythroughs of each hole from tee to green, and photography to showcase the course to members, visitors, and corporate guests.

The video and photography will be located on the club 's new website and like some of the best-known courses in the UK, every hole at Whittington Heath will be available to both members and visitors to see from the air to help them understand the course and improve their scores.

Colin White, general manager of Whittington Golf Club said, “The video really brings the new and wonderful clubhouse and our beautiful course to life.

“We are very proud of our new clubhouse and the drone footage really shows off not just its splendour, but the spectacular views across the Trent Valley.

“The drone films of each hole will be useful to golfers as they plan their rounds, especially those new to the course.

“Many top courses have invested in drones which has really helped players understand the nuances of each hole.

“This will be a really attractive asset to both members and visitors and confirms Whittington 's position as one of the best heathland courses in the UK. ”

Julian Fisher, director of Townhouse Communications said, “The Whittington course is among the most stunning locations in the region and the views across the Trent Valley from the clubhouse are spectacular.

“It 's not until you see things from a different angle or perspective that you really appreciate them and capturing the course from above via the drone was a privilege. ”
