Property experts bring new Digbeth apartments to market
FleetMilne has won the brief to sell 124 new apartments at Beorma Quarter.
The residential estate and letting agent will commence marketing the new homes from July.
Beorma Quarter, which is named after Birmingham’s Anglo-Saxon founder, has been developed by Kuwait-based real estate company Salhia.
The mixed-use scheme sits on a 2.2 acre site in Digbeth and is being brought forward in three phases. Phase 1 comprised the refurbishment of the Grade II-listed Digbeth Cold Store - let to The King’s Trust - and an Adagio aparthotel.
Phase II includes the 113m high Beorma Tower, at the junction of Park Street and Digbeth High Street. It comprises 152,000 sq ft of Grade A office space over 11 floors, ground floor retail and 124 apartments from floors 13-29. The building boasts separate double-height lobby entrances and lifts for commercial and residential occupiers.
Phase III will then follow to include further residential and commercial accommodation plus a new landscaped public square and gardens.
Nicola Fleet-Milne, CEO at FleetMilne, said: “Digbeth has long been home to Birmingham’s creative industries, a reputation cemented by the opening of Digbeth Loc Studios and the BBC’s forthcoming move to The Tea Factory.
“Beorma Quarter is a key part of Digbeth’s regeneration trajectory. It is a compelling investment opportunity, providing the gateway to the district, with an enviable location opposite the Bullring and the exciting Smithfield development. It is less than a five-minute walk from the New Street, Moor Street and Curzon Street train stations.
“Buying off-plan prior to completion of the building gives investors and owner occupiers the opportunity to benefit from the anticipated capital growth over this period. Gross rental yields are expected to be in the region of 6 per cent.”
One, two and three-bedroom apartments are available, including two penthouses and two premium, large-scale homes on the 28th floor. All apartments have winter gardens and city views, two have private terraces. Prices are from £299,950.
The building will complete in Summer 2026. It will be BREEAM Excellent rated, featuring sustainable technologies throughout, and will benefit from a 24/7 concierge.
