Restaurant celebrates fifth anniversary
A popular Midlands restaurant will celebrate a momentous milestone at the end of July - its first five years in business.
The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, which is located at The Manor Hotel in Meriden, is now planning a weekend of celebration on 29 to 31 July where guests will be able to enjoy a meal, a complimentary glass of fizz and live music.
Having become a firm favourite with Midland foodies the fifth anniversary coincides with the launch of a new summer menu that features a range of dishes ideal for the summer months, including some that uses a new plant-based 'meat '.
Developed by Redefine Meat, the restaurant is the only venue in the area to offer what has been described as a revolutionary 'new meat ' and is hoped will encourage more people to try the plant-based dishes.
Some of the delicious new dishes on the Summer Set menu includes Michel Bourdin 's Kipper P�t�, Mr White 's Gaspacho with Andalucian garnish, Crab cakes with Ravigote sauce, Gammon Steak “Marco Polo ”, a Long Clawson Blue Stilton & Poached Pear salad and of cure a Great British Summer Pudding with summer fruits, fruit coulis and cr�me Chantilly.
Paula Moran said: “When you consider what the country has had to endure over the last two years, it makes this fifth anniversary even more special and certainly calls for a celebration.
“Since we opened, it 's always been a popular place to dine, whether for a special occasion or just to enjoy a meal with family and friends. The atmosphere is always fabulous and on behalf of the staff and management I 'd like to thank all those who have dined with us over the last five years.
“It 's great that this anniversary also coincides the launch of our new summer menu, which has been devised by Marco himself, so there are plenty of reasons to come and visit.
“The new summer menu has been designed to complement the vibrant atmosphere in the restaurant, meaning our guests can feel inspired by the choice of food on offer and enjoy their dining experience at the same time. ”
