Service launched to connect people with government-funded training
Checksy, a new and free on-line service has been launched to empower people to “check and see ” if they 're eligible for government-funded training.
In the West Midlands, there is a lot of support available to people, whether employed or unemployed to enable them to develop their vocational skills.
However, sometimes people find the training landscape tricky to navigate. Checksy is a new service created to solve this problem by connecting adult learners with funded training opportunities, via an easy online experience.
Checksy provides people with the tools they need to make an informed choice about what training is best for them and their future. Checksy does this by bringing together funded courses from partner training providers, inspiring career pathway content, and a unique skills funding eligibility checking tool, into one online hub.
People can explore www.checksy.com to identify their career goals and the qualifications which are the passports to success in those careers, and then quickly find the funded courses which will enable them to gain those qualifications.
David White (Pictured) from Checksy commented: “The Checksy experience is highly personalised. So, employers can easily sign-post their employees to use the platform individually and from there they can access government funded training opportunities.
“This is a real win/win, for the employers and the employees. ”
The innovative Checksy service was launched first in the West Midlands region, with an impactful marketing campaign.
In the coming year, it will roll out to all areas of England, so that no matter where learners live, Checksy can offer them a helping hand.
