Shortlist announced for regional Chambers’ awards
The shortlist has been announced today for the upcoming Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chambers of Commerce awards night.
The event takes place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on 26 January, 2024 and is sponsored by Amazon and South Staffordshire College.
Eleven awards will be handed out on the night. As well as the sector awards, the presidents of each division will be handing out their President’s Awards to members of the business community who have shown particular commitment to supporting others.
The judging panel was chaired by GBCC international director Mandy Haque, who was impressed by the volume and quality of applications.

Commenting on the judging, Mandy said: “As chair of the judging panel I was delighted to see so many applications from a wide variety of business sectors from across the Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock Chase and Royal Sutton Coldfield areas.
“These awards are particularly special to me and it gave me great pleasure to support the judges through the process.
“We saw such a high standard of applicants this year.
“For all of you that have applied, thank you for taking the time to share with us the successes of your business achievements.
“Even if you have not been successful this time to win an award at this event, you have each recognised that through adversity and with your resilience you are making a valuable contribution to our region.
“Please do continue to support in the future and of course, know that your local Chamber division is there to assist you.”
