Start-up businesses invited to brand building webinar
The Kaleidoscope Coach, a coaching business, invites start-up businesses to attend a free webinar, 'Brand You for start-ups ' on Wednesday 9 February to discover how to build a meaningful brand.
The webinar, taking place at 12pm, will be hosted by marketing strategist Mel Evans, who wrote and led the marketing and launch strategies for Bullring and Grand Central, Mailbox and Highcross Leicester.
Mel will talk attendees through her six key foundations for creating a brand which is truly representative of their business offer and positioned to attract the right customers. She will also share practical tips on getting seen in the marketplace.
Mel Evans (pictured), marketing strategist business coach and mentor at The Kaleidoscope Coach, said: “There are so many innovative, exciting start-ups here in the Midlands, bursting with fantastic ideas and products, but if they don 't get their marketing right, it will take them a lot longer to become profitable, and they may never make it. My aim is to help entrepreneurs clarify what their brand should be before they spend time and money on design and copy.
“A meaningful brand is so much more than a logo; it 's about defining the who, what, where, when and why of your business. When that is clear, you can make realistic and informed decisions about the best ways to entice, excite and engage your ideal customers. ”
Mel is no stranger to the challenges faced by start-ups, having launched her own marketing consultancy, Me Marketing Limited, over 16 years ago. She has also previously owned and sold a fire engine mobile bar -The Tipple Truck, and has since started her coaching business, The Kaleidoscope Coach.
Mel 's approach is to work closely with start-up businesses to empower them to create and execute their own marketing strategy. Using a blend of strategic marketing advice, mentoring and coaching, she helps clients make decisions which are authentic, cost efficient and targeted.
Mel adds: “Marketing can sometimes feel like a bottomless pit, but it doesn 't have to be. Working with clients in this way means they can plan, create and truly own their marketing in a way that suits their resources and budget, whilst benefitting from my expertise.
“My 'Brand You ' webinar has been designed to kickstart start-ups on that journey. ”
