Taxi and private hire operator A2B Radio Cars - part of the Veezu group - has agreed a three-year partnership with Solihull Moors football club.

The first-time partnership is aimed at giving supporters the best match day experience and A2B will introduce a dedicated pick-up point at Moors ' ARMCO Arena to ensure fans can get home safely.

The firm is also supporting the club 's mascot programme for young supporters.

There will be A2B Radio Cars branded signage around the ground, as well as on the remote control car delivering the matchday ball onto the pitch at each home game.

Graham Hoof, A2B Radio cars regional director, said: “A2B Radio Cars is focused on continually improving our service to give passengers what they want.

“We 're delighted to offer our support to the club. A2B driver-partners are always the best gauge on what matters to their passengers, through the conversations they regularly have with them on their journeys and the football club continues to be a really hot topic.

“We 're very happy to be able to contribute in so many ways to shape the match day experience of so many passengers and can really see the pick-up point and mascot packages being popular. ”

A2B Radio Cars has been operating across the Midlands since 1991 and currently assists around five million passengers each year, servicing over 1,000 local businesses in the region.

As part of the Moors partnership, A2B will be running regular mascot competitions in conjunction with the club and ahead of key games, including Bromley at home on 1 Octobert.

Bradley Rice, head of commercial at Solihull Moors, said: “It 's great to be able to strike a partnership with a well-recognised company that is going to enhance the Moors Matchday experience.

“We are delighted to welcome on board A2B Radio Cars as the club's official taxi partner for the next three seasons.

“A2B 's designated pick-up point at the club will make it easy for supporters to travel to and from Moors home games. Knowing they can get to and from the ARMCO Arena with no hassle is only going to improve matchdays for those in attendance. ”
