University launches free networking event for small business leaders
Aston University 's centre for growth has organised a free online networking and information session tomorrow.
As part of the event, attendees will find out about all of the Centre's initiatives for helping the region 's most ambitious businesses to grow. The event will share more details about the following events;
- Help to Grow: Management is a government-funded 12-week leadership course delivered by Aston University, a world-class international Business School.
The in-depth curriculum will support senior business leaders to build their capabilities in leadership, innovation, digital adoption, employee engagement, marketing, responsible business, and financial management with one-to-one support from a business mentor, peer-learning sessions, and an alumni network.
- Minerva Birmingham Pitch Up: Finding investments through the established premier pitching competition of the West Midlands.
The Minerva Birmingham Pitch Up competition provides the opportunity for ambitious businesses to improve their ability to win investment while simultaneously boosting your business's profile. Over the last 8 years, the competition was created and delivered by the Centre for Growth at Aston University, Bizzlnn at the University of Birmingham and Minerva at the University of Warwick Science Park. Over this period, it has put over 140 entrepreneurs directly in front of investors and helped bring over £40,000,000 of investments to the region's small businesses.
- Green Advantage:Managing the sustainability transition for business leaders and professionals.
Green Advantage is a new free of charge short course from Aston University. It is designed for business leaders, managers and professionals who want to consider the implications of climate and environmental challenges for their business or workplace alongside maintaining business performance and profitability.
