Charity of the Year Applications 2026 to 2027

The Burton & District Chamber of Commerce is now inviting applications for its Charity of the Year 2026 to 2027.

Each year, the Chamber selects one charity to support through its fundraising activity and to help raise awareness of the work it carries out within the local community and business network.

Applications are now open to charities wishing to be considered for the 2026 to 2027 term.

To be eligible, applicants must:

be a registered charity
be a member of the Burton & District Chamber of Commerce
have a clear connection to Burton and District
observe a minimum gap of two years before reapplying if previously selected as Charity of the Year
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 22 April 2026.

Following the closing date, applications will be reviewed and, where required, shortlisted charities may be invited to give a short presentation as part of the selection process. If this stage is required, it will be completed by Wednesday 29 April 2026.

The successful charity will be announced at the Burton & District Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 6 May 2026 at Branston Golf & Country Club.
