Showcasing our hidden gems
Brumbassadors is a platform for amplifying good news and opportunities across business, culture and sport in our city; the magic ingredients that make Birmingham a great place to live, work and invest.
Our Brumbassadors Behind The Scenes series shines a light on organisations that do something really special in our city, from charitable and community work, to developing artistic talent, or innovating for local and global impact.
Join us at FareShare Midlands for an eye-opening morning, learning about their work and connecting with fellow leaders who are passionate about Birmingham's growth, sustainability and social impact.
FareShare Midlands plays a critical role in Birmingham and the wider Midlands, rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to more than 650 charities and community organisations. Every week, this food supports around 60,000 people while reducing waste, strengthening communities and creating opportunities through training, employability and volunteering.
As part of this event, you will have the opportunity to get involved with FareShare's activities: spending time either supporting in the food redistribution warehouse, or preparing a delicious lunch from surplus food for the group to enjoy together. Please select your activity when booking your ticket.
