Looking forward to the next 12 months

The annual general meeting of Burton & District Chamber is to be held on Wednesday 6 May at which the result of the Divisional Council selection process will be announced.

The meeting will include an update on chamber matters and will also be a great opportunity for delegates to gather and network over a light lunch.

The AGM is held for the following purposes:

  1. To receive the minutes of the last AGM
  2. To receive the president’s report on the last year’s activities
  3. To confirm a President & Vice Presidents for the Burton Chamber of Commerce
  4. To select council members for up to 12 remaining council vacancies
  5. To announce the Burton & District Chamber Charity of the Year.

Nominations are now open for the Divisional Council. Applications must be submitted online and will close  22nd April 11:59pm

 

Apply to become Charity of the Year

The Burton & District Chamber of Commerce is now inviting applications for its Charity of the Year 2026 to 2027.

Each year, the Chamber selects one charity to support through its fundraising activity and to help raise awareness of the work it carries out within the local community and business network.
