Who is SARAC?
SARAC is a specialist support charity based in Burton on Trent who offers free support for victims or survivors of sexual abuse for everyone over 11 years of age who have been affected at any time in their lives. They work in partnership with clients to expand their choices, facilitate recovery and encourage personal growth through emotional and counselling support.
Their vision is to live in a world free from sexual violence and provide trauma informed education in the hope that in time we will see a reduction in the requirement of their 1:1 support services.
To ensure the success of businesses, SARAC also offer training around abuse, as it is essential that employees feel respected, safe, and valued. The training sessions are designed to help cultivate a positive workplace environment where staff feel empowered to share their concerns, confident that they will be heard.
