Acacia Family Support

Acacia is an award winning christian charity which was founded in 2004 by two local mums (Emma Borg and Rachel Gregory) who both experienced postnatal depression and were determined to help other families.  We have been supporting families ever since.  Our services are free and are available to mums and dads in the Birmingham area who are experiencing pre and postnatal depression and anxiety.  

Acorns Children's Hospice

At Acorns Children’s Hospice we offer a network of specialist palliative nursing care and support for local children and their families. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. Our services include short breaks for children at our hospices, therapeutic and psychosocial support, support for siblings and other family members, emergency and end of life care and bereavement support.

Our care is tailored for each individual child and designed to meet all their clinical, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs. In the past year, we have supported over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families across the West Midlands, including those who have been bereaved.

The Cancer Support Centre

Founded in 2001, our centre is a place of sanctuary and support where everyone from the West Midlands area and beyond is welcome.

The Cancer Support Centre can help anyone who has received a diagnosis and also their support network, and we are here whenever you need help.

At The Cancer Support Centre we know that the impact of having cancer isn’t just a physical one.
