From strategy to action: collaborative sustainability journeys in practice

Part of the Business Growth Studio

This session brings together public and private sector perspectives to explore how organisations can begin to embed and sustain meaningful ESG and sustainability initiatives. Birmingham Business Park and Touchwood Solihull will share their sustainability journeys, highlighting practical projects already in place, from biodiversity and green-space enhancements to community and social value programmes, and how these align with wider ESG objectives.

The session will emphasise the power of collaboration, with insights from Nurture Landscapes’ ESG Lead on partnering to deliver sustainable outcomes, alongside practical examples such as Touchwood’s use of the Workman-managed IBOS system.

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council will also provide guidance on building organisational capacity, navigating increasing pressures, and developing effective climate and sustainability action plans. Attendees will leave with tangible ideas, real-world examples and a reminder that every sustainability journey starts somewhere.
