Content & agenda

Session 1 (January): Filming Techniques

Learn how to capture professional-quality footage with your smartphone.

Topics include:

• Planning your shoot: storyboarding, shot lists, and shot sequencing
• Framing, lighting, and smartphone filming tips
• Capturing usable, high-quality footage for business use
• Understanding composition, angles, and storytelling through visuals
• How to record clear audio and use affordable lighting setups

Session 2 (February) : Editing & Optimising

Turn your raw clips into a polished, professional video ready to post.

Topics include:

• Editing using CapCut
• Adding transitions, overlays, captions, and audio
• Incorporating graphics, logos, and branding for a professional finish
• Exporting for reels, TikTok, YouTube shorts, and other social media formats

Each participant will leave with a fully edited 60-second business video reel ready to post on social media.
