Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce is looking for a commercially minded ABCC Manager to manage and develop the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce at a pivotal stage in its growth.
This is a fast-paced, outward-facing role with responsibility for driving membership growth, strengthening engagement across a diverse business community and delivering a strong programme of events and commercial activity. Alongside this, you will build strong relationships with members, patrons and key stakeholders, generate commercial income through sponsorship and partnerships, and play a lead role in delivering flagship ABCC events, including the Annual Dinner, Awards Night and Festivals. You will also manage and support the ABCC Executive Committee, ensuring meetings are well organised, informed and connected to wider GBCC priorities.
This role will suit someone with strong sales and relationship-management experience, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders within agreed organisational frameworks. You will be an effective communicator, comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with a flexible approach to working hours and a full UK driving licence.
If you are passionate about supporting diverse business communities, giving voice to under-represented entrepreneurs and helping shape a more inclusive regional economy, this role offers the opportunity to turn that commitment into meaningful, visible impact.
