Cudos Creative

"Women bring so much to business - creativity, empathy, emotional intelligence and a natural ability to nurture relationships.

"Being part of a supportive business community, surrounded by people who champion you and genuinely want to see you succeed, is vital. Those relationships give women the confidence to step forward, own their strengths and build businesses on their own terms."

Kate Curry, Director

How has being part of the Chamber community supported you as a leader, not just as a business?

The Chamber has opened up countless opportunities for growth, from sharing expertise and building confidence through speaking at events, to increasing our reach via PR and visibility. It’s introduced me to brilliant people and businesses, creating connections that go far beyond networking and add real, lasting value to both me and my team.

What does your business do – and what’s your role as owner/founder?

CUDOS Creative designs brands, websites and social content for ambitious, purpose-driven businesses, providing the strategic and creative vision that helps those organisations show up with clarity, confidence and impact.

What’s been the most rewarding part of being a female business owner?

Seeing other women feel inspired by my journey and confident enough to take the leap themselves. Knowing that my experience has helped someone believe in their own ideas and launch a successful business is incredibly rewarding, particularly in the creative industry where women are still very much underrepresented at the top.

Have you had a moment where you felt particularly proud to represent women in your sector? What happened?

I am especially proud to be asked to be Vice-President of our local Chamber - this has given me as a female founder of a creative business a real platform to inspire others, but also the validation that I can influence our local business community too.

In what ways do you think networks and communities, like the Chamber, matter for women in business?

Women bring so much to business - creativity, empathy, emotional intelligence and a natural ability to nurture relationships. Yet too often we downplay these strengths or see them as weaknesses. Being part of a supportive business community, surrounded by people who champion you and genuinely want to see you succeed, is vital. Those relationships give women the confidence to step forward, own their strengths and build businesses on their own terms.
