Committee Applications

 

Applications are now open to join the Future Faces Executive Committee 2019 - 2020.
 
About the committee:

The Future Faces Executive Committee comprises of a President, up to three Vice Presidents, and up to 10 Committee members.

The Committee meets every 6 weeks for approximately one hour to discuss a range of issues related to the activities of Future Faces. Committee members are required to contribute ideas and feedback, attend a minimum of 75% of committee meetings per year, and attend at least 8 Future Faces events event per year. They are also required to support and promote Future Faces as ambassadors.

Want to be part of shaping the future of this dynamic young professional network? Future Faces members can now apply to be on the 2019 - 2020 committee. This year there are five Executive Committee vacancies and one Vice President position available.
 
What’s the Process?
 
Future Faces members can fill in an application form found here, this must be seconded (by another Future Faces member) and submitted to Future Faces: FFCommittee@birmingham-chamber.com by 5pm on Tuesday 5th November 2019.
 
Applications will then be processed and if there are more Executive Committee applications than there are positions, members will be notified of a member vote which will begin on Wednesday 6th November and close at 5pm on Friday 22nd November so they can select the 5 candidates that they would most like to represent them on the committee.

The new 2019 - 2020 Executive Committee will be announced at the Future Faces AGM.

Vice President positions will then be elected by and from the newly elected Executive Committee via an anonymous vote in the first committee meeting after the AGM.

Applications are open to all Future Faces members and multiple people from any one company can apply. However, please note that as our constitution states, in order to maintain corporate variety within the committee, a maximum of 2 members from any single employer shall be accepted onto the committee as part of the voting process, via a first past the post basis.

The Future Faces AGM notice

The Future Faces Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 27th November 2019. The AGM will take place at Canalside at The Cube from 5.30pm, followed by a celebratory networking social from 7pm onwards. Book your place onto our AGM here.
