£1,000 donation upgrades sensory garden at school

Local telecommunications provider, Telephone Europe, have donated £1,000 to Merstone School.

Telephone Europe's donation comes at a time where school budgets have been stretched to breaking point due to the pandemic.

Merstone School, a local Solihull based special school, were one of five schools awarded with the £1000 funding.

The school aim to embrace a broad, rich and joyful educational experience for their children with learning difficulties, and have chosen to spend the £1000 donation on revamping their sensory garden for their students.

The vision is to provide their children with a joyful educational experience whereby will be given full reigns on the revamp, whilst also building relevant skills for the future.

It will also leave a legacy for when the children eventually graduate.
