A workshop designed to help business owners set their goals for the New Year is returning for its 11th year.

The Annual Goal Setting Workshop is the brainchild of business coach Clare Whalley, owner of Meta4 Business Coaching and former vice-president of the Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce.

Clare (pictured) helps businesses think about their goals and plans for the year ahead - and how they are going to make them happen.

The three-hour online workshop will help attendees put together a 12-month business growth plan broken down into four quarters with clear, actionable steps.

Attendees will also receive a 'Goal Setting Care Package' delivered to their door, a 30-minute follow-up coaching call and access to a private Facebook group to share successes and challenges with like-minded business owners.

Each year has a theme to inspire business owners and Clare explained: “The number 23 represents change, progress, and innovation - ideal focal points for our current ever-changing world.

“We 'll look at how to incorporate these three foci into your business plans.

Setting business goals is about getting clear on the things you want to achieve and why - which in turn prevents procrastination and makes it easier to get motivated and inspired to take action.

“It can often feel easier to not set goals for fear of not achieving them or in some cases, fear of achieving.

“This workshop is dedicated time and (online) space for enthusiastic, like-minded business owners to come together for a fabulous morning of goal setting and preparation. ”

Among this year 's attendees will be Chamber member Anita Ellis of Lexicomm, who said: “I can 't wait for this - so much value packed into a morning!

“I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get a head start for planning for 2023 (and feel smug going into the Christmas break)! ”
