Visit Knowle hosted a 'Time Machine Festival' last month as a way of celebrating the village's heritage and outlining future plans.

Joining other local organisations including Knowle Society, Knowle Local History Society and Knowle British Legion, a series of events took place at the festival.

Visitors took a tour of the church tower, attended a Knowle Society Guided Walk, leartn artisan skills from local artists in workshops, and saw exhibitions from local groups.

There was also street entertainment from Knowle Revels Drama Group and Warwickshire Dance school.

For anyone who got hungry, sustenance could be found from Eric Lyons, offering a succulent hog roast on the first weekend and traditional burgers and hotdogs on the second weekend.

Looking to the future, Knowle, Dorridge & Bentley Heath Neighbourhood Forum were on hand to talk about their work and plans for Knowle future, visitors could place their wishes for Knowle on a wishing tree while younger planners could build their version of the future of Knowle in lego.

Receiving glowing feedback from visitors on the day, guests enjoyed the entertainment whilst also learning a lot more about the village of Knowle and it's long history.
