An exhibition of artwork inspired by Saturday morning cartoons of the 1980s and 1990s will open at Lichfield’s The Hub at St Mary's, featuring the work of artist Lee Bradley.

‘Radical Rewind: The 80s & 90s Toonverse of Lee Bradley’ will feature pieces referencing shows including Transformers, He-Man and Thundercats.

The exhibition is underway now and runs until 26 September (9.30am-4pm Wednesday-Friday and 9.30am-3pm Saturday).

Bradley will attend The Hub on Saturday 25 August to meet visitors.

Alongside relaxed viewing sessions, ticketed drawing workshops for children and adults will run, led by Bradley.

Details and workshop tickets are available at the venue’s website.

Anthony Evans, creative director at The Hub, said: "We can't wait to fill The Hub's gallery with superheroes. As the exhibition is family friendly and free, you can visit as often as you like."

Entry to the exhibition is free, with donations welcome. Workshop tickets can be booked online or in person at The Hub.
