The Birmingham office of Bishop Fleming, a leading audit, accounting, tax, and advisory firm, is pleased to announce its partnership with Let’s Feed Brum as its chosen charity for the next year.

The partnership is part of the firm’s flagship 1 per cent for Communities initiative which pledges to give back the equivalent of 1 per cent of the firm’s turnover through impactful, community-focused volunteering, fundraising and related activities.

The initiative aims to support local communities, foster employee engagement, and contribute to meaningful causes, while underpinning the firm’s ambition to be the most rewarding accountancy firm in the UK for its clients, people, and communities.

The Birmingham office plans to raise £5,000 for the charity, through fundraising activities that will include a quiz evening and The Great Birmingham Run.

The funds raised will directly support Let’s Feed Brum’s efforts to tackle homelessness and food insecurity.

Lucy Fairclough (pictured), Birmingham partner at Bishop Fleming, said: "With our growing presence in Birmingham, it’s fantastic to welcome Let’s Feed Brum into our charity programme. Their work is making a real difference, and we look forward to supporting their mission through fundraising, volunteering, and visibility.”

Alan Strang, trustee and chair for Let’s Feed Brum, said: “We are looking forward to the support Bishop Fleming can provide to our work in Birmingham. Over the next year, together we will raise vital funds to help people experiencing homelessness find safety, dignity, and the change to rebuild their lives.”
