Azets, the UK top 10 accountancy and advisory Group, has appointed Alper Dervish as Corporate Finance partner.

Alper brings over 20 years’ experience advising ambitious businesses through key stages of their growth journey.

Beginning his career in audit and internal controls, Alper qualified as a Chartered Accountant before moving into merger and acquisition advisory, where he has led projects spanning due diligence, strategic assessments, fundraising and full sales processes across sectors such as technology, media, and renewables.

In addition, Alper serves as a voluntary member of the inaugural UK council, established by Intuit, which is dedicated to championing and supporting small business growth across the country.

He will be working across Azets’ Midlands offices, where he will help lead the regional corporate finance team.

Alper said: “Having worked closely with a wide range of businesses to help them secure investment, expand, and achieve their ambitions, joining Azets felt like a natural fit to continue working with determined companies in the Midlands and beyond.

“Over the past decade, I’ve supported businesses across diverse sectors and transactions, and I’m excited to use that experience to help grow the corporate finance team while advising a broad portfolio of clients.

“As a committed advocate for the region, I take pride in helping local businesses realise their potential and strengthen the communities in which they operate.”

Gary Hyem, Corporate Finance partner at Azets in Birmingham, added: “With his broad experience, Alper will play a pivotal role in enhancing our national offering and strengthening our presence across the Midlands. This appointment underlines our continued investment in talent and our dedication to driving Azets’ ongoing success.”

Azets is an international business advisory group with regional offices in Birmingham, Blandford Forum, Bristol, Cardiff, Coventry, Gloucester, Nottingham, Plymouth, South Molton, St Asaph, Swansea, Tamworth, Truro and Wolverhampton.
