Accountancy firm quiz hopes to raise money for YMCA

After an absence of three years, the traditional Charity Quiz Night organised by Alexander Accountancy will be back on Thursday 24 November.

The quiz is open to all of the local business community with everyone welcome to join in.

This year the aim is to raise funds for the YMCA, a key local charity.

The competition is open to teams of up to six people and will include the quiz, a hot buffet, plus the traditional raffle and auction. It will take place in the Albion Suite at the Pirelli Stadium, where there will be a bar and free parking.

The competition will be taking arrivals from 6pm, with the quiz starting at 7pm. The cost of entry is £135 per team.

The YMCA is in the front line when dealing with many challenges including sheltering people, providing food and nourishment along with supporting their mental health.

It is a local organisation helping local people, that is entirely self-funded and providing key services to the worst-off in the community, at a time when funding is stretched more than it has been in most people 's living memory.
