Accountancy firm surpasses £34million in revenue
Cooper Parry, the UK 's 'rebels of accountancy ', have wrapped up a stellar year with an announcement of 13 per cent organic growth and revenue surpassing £34m.
The firm 's first quarter results underline record-breaking revenue growth of 48 per cent and all teams are delivering impressive YOY growth - with Corporate Finance concluding their biggest ever deal and audit (up 22 per cent), tax (up 17 per cent) and wealth (up 30 per cent) driving the firm-wide success.
The news follows hard on the heels of massive acceleration in the entrepreneurial tech space. Driven by the successful launch of the new Tech & High Growth team by two ex-Grant Thornton partners, Steve Leith and James Peck, the firm is building the number one team focused on the scale-up space.
Working with founders and CFOs, the fast-growing team is collaborating with a wide ecosystem of accelerators, investors, and networks to support high growth companies. These include partnerships with Tech Nation (Upscale 6.0 and 7.0), Crowdcube, Superscript, Cap Desk and StartUp CFO.
As part of a dynamic post-pandemic re-opening, Cooper Parry has also taken new office space in Shoreditch to house the 45 strong London team.
Across the total team of 440 plus working from three UK hubs (Castle Donington, Solihull and London), Cooper Parry has added 83 new talents, as well promoting more than 10 per cent of the team - all during the pandemic.
Cooper Parry CEO, Ade Cheatham (pictured) said: “The past 18 months have been monumental for CP. At the start, we acted superfast, pivoting swiftly to deliver our clients the right experience for the strangest of times. We then took the brakes off equally quickly to turbo charge our growth. Attracting top talent and only focusing on key areas where we can lead is the key driver. ”
