Accountancy firm tackles homelessness with YMCA rugby fundraiser
Burton-on-Trent-based Alexander Accountancy raised money for Burton YMCA through staging a social event at a local rugby club.
Alexander Accountancy invited 60 clients and members of their business network to join them at Burton Rugby Club in Tatenhill to see Burton II take on Newcastle II, in partnership with independent financial advice Alexander’s Financial Planning.
With Alexander Accountancy sponsoring the second team, guests enjoyed a hot buffet before the game, which Burton II won 75-0.
A raffle to raise money for Burton YMCA generated £750, with the main prizes including weekend passes for two to a British Superbike 2026 meeting.
