Adoption charity takes part in Remember A Charity Week 2025
Adoption Focus has shared that they are taking part in Remember A Charity Week 2025, celebrating the vital impact of charitable gifts in Wills.
As part of the campaign, Adoption Focus is sharing the story of Jane becoming a grandma.
Jane’s life changed when her daughter chose Adoption Focus as her agency of choice for her adoption journey. Jane said: “When I met my new grandson for the first time, we fell in love with him straightaway.
“Five years later and things couldn’t be going any better for Ethan, he loves going to school, playing football and attending Beavers.”
This Remember A Charity Week (8 – 14 September 2025), Adoption Focus is coming together with close to 200 charities to thank ‘Willanthropists*’ across the UK for doing something incredible by leaving a gift to charity in their Will.
Throughout the week, charities and their beneficiaries will be celebrating the remarkable impact and generosity of all those who have chosen to support good causes in this way.
Gifts in Wills help fund crucial long-term income that can help for decades to come. This ensures that for generations, vulnerable children will get the help they need to reach their full potential.
Jane continued: “I love being a grandma, and it’s thanks to Adoption Focus that this was possible. That’s why I have decided to leave the charity a gift in my Will.”
Robert J Mitchell, fundraising manager of Adoption Focus, added: “By leaving a gift in your Will, you can help ensure that today’s children and those in the future have the best possible chance to reach their full potential. A gift in your Will can protect children’s futures.”
Whether large or small, gifts in Wills can help charities continue their vital work - supporting the vulnerable, protecting the environment, advancing education, medical research, and much more.
