Adoption Focus to host free online adoption session

Midlands-based adoption charity and Chamber member Adoption Focus is inviting people interested in exploring adoption as a route to parenthood to attend a free online information session.

The remote session will take place on Wednesday 21 October at 6pm and will offer an opportunity for prospective adopters to learn more about the adoption process, understand eligibility requirements and discover the support available from the Ofsted outstanding-rated agency.

The session begins with a presentation lasting approximately one hour, providing an overview of what adoption involves and the steps involved in starting the journey.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers directly from the Adoption Focus team.

Based in Birmingham, Adoption Focus holds regular online information events every Wednesday evening, making it easier for people to explore adoption from the comfort of their own homes, with no obligation to proceed with an application.

Alongside its online sessions, the charity also runs regular in-person information events at its Marston Green head office.

Upcoming dates are Saturday 7 November and Saturday 5 December, with both events starting at 11am. Free on-site parking and refreshments will be available to those attending.

For anyone considering adoption, these events provide a welcoming opportunity to find out more, gain a clearer understanding of the process and learn about the support available throughout the adoption journey.
