Agency delivers software development studio rebrand after Chamber meeting
Lichfield-based Straightforward Agency has completed a brand development project for In-Line Studio, a growing Burton-on-Trent software development studio – a collaboration that began through the local Chamber network.
The two businesses first met at The Monday Club, held at Burton's Brewhouse Arts Centre.
The networking event is delivered in partnership with East Staffordshire Borough Council, Burton & District Chamber of Commerce and Burton Radio.
Founded by director Scott-David Jones, In-Line Studio specialises in bespoke app development, custom software, automation and AI, working closely with agencies and businesses to modernise legacy systems.
However, its existing brand – assembled piece by piece over time, no longer reflected the quality of the work produced.
Straightforward carried out a considered rebrand, evolving rather than replacing their existing identity.
The studio's distinctive logo was modified, while a vibrant new colour palette was introduced, paired with a refined typeface system for stronger hierarchy.
A set of supporting graphic elements – curves, dots and dashes representing 'Code & Flow' added texture and personality, all documented in a compact brand guidelines document and rolled out across their website, business cards and social media.
Director Scott-David Jones said: "Shane dived deep into a refreshing rebranding of our image. He took what we had cobbled together and breathed new life into it. We are left wanting more and are looking forward to working with him in the future."
