Agency sponsors world-leading Aston Uni programme

WAA Chosen has announced a new sponsorship agreement with Aston University 's Executive MBA programme.

Ranked as one of the world 's top MBAs, the intensive course is renowned for spearheading the professional careers of its graduates.

To support with the delivery of the programme, industry experts at Sutton Coldfield-based WAA Chosen will be leading a number of lectures to students over the duration of the course.

The presentations will not only focus on entrepreneurship, but also include digital innovation, leadership and commercial insight.

One of the students will also get the opportunity to complete their final project at the agency, working on a real-life business scenario.

Simon Finley, director of the Centre for Innovation in Enterprise Education at Aston University, said: “It is really exciting to begin working with WAA Chosen. We strive, wherever possible, to bring experiential learning and practice focussed knowledge into our MBA.

“Not only will WAA Chosen be able to inject a wealth of experience and insight from their success in the marketing industry, they will also be able to provide first-hand experience of launching and growing an entrepreneurial venture.

“This will add significant value to our students ' world-class learning experience. ”

As the first UK agency to be awarded Investors in People, WAA Chosen has gone on to become a regular feature in The Sunday Times Top 100 and the Best Companies listing.

The agency has also supported numerous schools, colleges and universities with activities that have included hosting talks at local schools and involvement in assessing final university assessments.

Each year, the agency takes part in Advertising Unlocked, an initiative launched and encouraged by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) to showcase marketing as a future career. In the annual event, agencies across the UK open their doors to the next generation of advertising superstars.

WAA Chosen was founded in Sutton Coldfield in 1986 by Andy Wilson, who is CEO of the business.
