Burton Echo and Lichfield Radio have announced a new partnership with Burton-based brand and marketing agency Sallara Marketing Ltd.

The organisations say the partnership will strengthen their shared commitment to amplifying positive local stories and supporting community talent across Burton, Lichfield, Burntwood and the surrounding areas.

Sallara Marketing will support Burton Echo and Lichfield Radio with marketing strategy, content planning, campaigns, social media, audience growth and digital development.

Burton Echo has established itself as a trusted platform for celebrating the people, charities, artists and businesses making a positive difference locally, with its second print edition now in circulation and an expanding distribution network across the area.

Lichfield Radio, launching on 19 January 2026, will broadcast 24/7 with music, live shows and podcasts covering culture, sport, history and business, alongside a strong commitment to community impact.

Twenty percent of its net profit will go to the We Love Lichfield Foundation.

Founded by Lara Denney and Sally Greaves, Sallara Marketing is a brand and marketing agency with expertise in content-led strategy and purpose-driven campaigns.

Lara was born in Burton upon Trent, and the founders met while working locally at Molson Coors.

Lara and Sally will work closely with managing director Scott Milligan, alongside programme director Ruth ‘Rocket’ Redgate, as well as contributors, local businesses, charities and community groups, to help amplify positive messaging and ensure local voices are seen and heard.

“Burton Echo and Lichfield Radio are built around community,” said Scott.

“As both platforms grow, it’s important that the positive stories we’re sharing reach as many people as possible. Sallara Marketing understands that mission and is helping us amplify the great work already happening across the area.”

Lara said: “Both Burton Echo and Lichfield Radio are already doing important work locally.

“Our role is to support that - to help strengthen awareness, grow engagement and ensure great community stories travel further.”
