With business travel back on the agenda following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, Loganair is increasing flight frequencies to reconnect Birmingham with more destinations across the British Isles.

The airline, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, has also strengthened its codeshare partnership with British Airways.

This means customers now book Loganair routes from Birmingham, including those to Aberdeen, Inverness and Isle of Man, via ba.com - allowing BA Executive Club Members to collect Avios on Loganair operated routes.

Loganair flights are now on sale and bookable for travel until February, 2023.

This summer, Loganair will offer up to three flights per day to Aberdeen and operate daily services to Inverness and the Isle of Man.

The Aberdeen flights provide a particularly important link for those in the West Midlands who work offshore in the North Sea Energy Sector, as well as onward connectivity to Orkney and Shetland.

Loganair was also the first UK airline to recently introduce a mandatory carbon offset charge under its GreenSkies initiative - its commitment to carbon neutrality by 2040.

The £1 carbon charge per flight fully offsets all Carbon emissions via accredited Carbon Offset schemes that meet the highest international standards.

Meanwhile, the airline is an active partner in future flight projects, such as Project Fresson, developing electric Britten-Norman Islanders.

Colin Gracey, sales manager at Loganair, said: “We very much look forward to welcoming customers back on board whether they are travelling for work, study, to reconnect with friends and family or for that bit of much-needed leisure time.

“We're also delighted to be able to increase our schedules in the weeks ahead, adding capacity to meet growing demand and facilitate economic recovery ”.

All of Loganair 's fares include a 15kg hold luggage allowance and 6kg cabin luggage as standard, along with complimentary in-flight refreshments.

As an introduction for Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce members, Loganair is offering 50 per cent more Clan Points for its Clan Loganair loyalty programme on their FlyFlex fares*
