Apartment operator earns travel industry accolades
Staying Cool at Rotunda in Birmingham has received recognition from two leading international travel organisations.
The city centre apartments and penthouses have received the Good Hotel Awards ' prestigious Blue Ribbon for Great Getaways - the only Birmingham city centre accommodation provider to make the list.
Founded in 2014, the Good Hotel Awards recognise hard-working teams who strive for excellence within their field. Chosen for their room quality, service and value, the prestigious Blue Ribbon is given to those with high customer ratings and votes.
Staying Cool has also received a Gold Award for being in the top 10 per cent of luxury hotels in Europe by US News & World Report 's travel team.
The respected US News & Report hospitality list studied more than 35,000 hotels to find the best in the USA, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean, based on reputation among travel experts, guest reviews and hotel class ratings.
Staying Cool at Rotunda has become known for its contemporary and minimalist interiors, striking views across Birmingham and extra touches such as locally-sourced indie coffee, fresh juice on demand and collaborations with local hospitality events such as Birmingham Cocktail Weekend.
Gavin Burns, Staying Cool Group general manager, said: “It 's great to be recognised with these two leading awards so early in the year and after such a difficult period for the hospitality sector.
“We see this as a reflection of the hard work of our brilliant Rotunda team who do everything they can to give our guests a great time and a memorable visit. ”
