Apprenticeship organisation expands with new appointment
Following success and awareness in London, Evolve Apprentices are expanding with their newly appointed partnership and operations manager for Birmingham and West Midlands.
Evolve Apprentices are a not-for-profit organisation and Social Value Enterprise who offer the Flexi Shared Apprenticeship Scheme, to ensure Construction Companies meet and exceed their Social Value and S106 commitments.
Radhiya Lovatt (pictured) has a successful career in Employability and Apprenticeships. Radhiya comes with experience in Business Development, Apprenticeship Operations, and Management. Radhiya is keen to create new opportunities, and support future apprentices into sustainable work within the Construction industry.
Radhiya said: “My career started at a young age in Optics. Completing an NVQ in Business Admin, I started at a friends Optical practice to 'help out '.
“Eight years later, and managing three practices, Optics became a career. I worked my way up the Optical ladder and moved to Laser Eye Surgery.
“I was extremely proud to further my skill sets in managing a clinic and a successful team. Naturally, I wanted to explore a different side, and started a career in Field Sales selling the Optical products that I previously gained experience in using, to Hospitals and Optical clinics nationally.
“After a few years successful years - I decided to utilise the experience and skill sets gained and explore a new industry. Although it may sound 'clich ', I wanted a career move in either education or caring as I wanted to help people.
“This is where my passion and love for apprenticeships started. Working for a large apprenticeship training provider provided me with the knowledge and experience around apprentices and the operational side of academic pathways.
“My passion for apprenticeships grew personally where I have been fortunate enough to see my then 16-year-old start his engineering apprenticeship. Now, at 19, and three years in to his apprenticeship - I have seen him evolve into a young man gaining experience and skills for a great career in engineering.
“My journey with Evolve started due to the social value morals/ethics that the company possess. Having worked in a charitable organsiation previously, it is important to me bridge the skills gap and promote EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) within construction.
“My focus is to support Construction industries with their S106 and Social Value obligations to ensure we are able to offer everyone a fair opportunity to start their career in construction. ”
