Baily Garner, a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy in the UK, has been named one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025, in partnership with employee experience platform WorkL.

This nationwide survey honours and celebrates the UK’s top employers, highlighting those who lead the way in creating exceptional workplaces across all sectors.

Baily Garner was the only ‘Big’ company listed in the ‘Architecture’ sector.

Dan Bridgewater (pictured), partner and group head of architecture said: "This recognition is a reflection of the passion and dedication our architectural team brings to every project,” said.

“We’ve built a culture where creativity thrives, people are supported, and innovation is encouraged. I’m incredibly proud of the team and what we’ve achieved together with the other disciplines within Baily Garner."

Since Baily Garner consolidated its Eltham and Birmingham studios to form BG Architects, the firm has made growing its team a key priority.

Luke Fletcher, Year-Out Architectural Technologist, has been with BG Architects since February 2024 and has benefited from the positive environment.

He said: “As a year-out student, I’ve felt genuinely welcomed and supported from day one,” he said.

“The mentorship, exposure to real projects, and the collaborative spirit here have made this an incredible place to learn and grow. It’s inspiring to be part of a team that truly invests in its people."

The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list features over 500 organisations of all sizes and industries, recognising outstanding employers across multiple categories - including those supporting women, LGBTQIA+ employees, ethnic minorities, disabled staff, older and younger workers, and mental wellbeing.

Based on WorkL’s employee engagement survey - developed by behavioural scientists, psychologists, and business leaders - organisations are evaluated against six critical drivers of a positive workplace: Reward & Recognition, Instilling Pride, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Wellbeing, and Job Satisfaction.
