Ark helps bring popular attraction to TV screens
Video and animation production company Ark Media have completed work on a TV commercial for Drayton Manor Resort as part of the attraction 's 2022 summer marketing campaign.
The advert was shot by the Sutton Coldfield-based production firm over four days in late May and June, with 12-strong crew and a cast of more than 20 actors and extras.
Phil Arkinstall, CEO of Ark Media and president of the Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce, said: “We were delighted to produce this advert for Drayton Manor.
“It's a theme park close to my heart as I've visited there as a child and now as a parent and have many wonderful memories there. To go back there to make their advert was a joy. ”
Ark Media has expanded its video offering into television commercials over the past few years - having also produced Birmingham Children's Hospital 's first ever advert - narrated by Dame Julie Walters.
Ark also created adverts for Twycross Zoo and Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
Graham Allsopp, deputy CEO of Ark Media, added: “TV advertising isn't exclusive these days to just larger firms, we are working with a number of companies on a smaller budget using targeted ads on Adsmart from Sky.
“You only pay if the ad is viewed so it's a great way of getting the most from your budget. ”
