Art centre on the lookout for new trustee

The Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) is looking for a new trustee to build strong connections and raise their profile.

The trustee must have experience in fundraising/philanthropy, and with strong networks in Birmingham and wider West Midlands.

Being part of the MAC board is a highly rewarding role where the trustee will gain unique experience and be a highly valued part of a dynamic contemporary art space.

MAC looking for Trustees to join the main Board with knowledge and experience of current issues and trends in fundraising/philanthropy, long-term sustainability with the ability to develop and review strategy and performance.

The trustee is also required to incorporate the vision, mission and values and bring insights, learning and practices from other sectors and organisations to support decision making.

This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to influence decisions at a critical time in MAC's development, develop skills including leadership, collaboration, finance and decision making and develop knowledge of charity operations in the cultural sector.
