The Asian Business Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) will be showcasing its roots and success during the South Asian Heritage month – happening from July 18 to August 17.

This year’s theme – Roots to Routes – will explore the rich journey of growth and the evolving connections the South Asian community has made through generations.

In line with this, the ABCC will be launching a blog and short video series titled ‘My Heritage, My Business’.

The series will spotlight inspiring stories from ABCC members, sharing their journeys in business, the influence of their heritage, and offering advice for future generations.

It will also explore how South Asian values and traditions continue to shape and strengthen business today.

ABCC vice presidents Monica Ghai and Gurdas Singh, who will lead the campaign said:  "South Asian Heritage Month is a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the journeys, challenges, and successes of our community.

“Through this campaign, we hope to celebrate the contributions of South Asian businesses, highlight how our values shape the way we do business, and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs to be proud of their heritage while forging their own routes to success."

ABCC director Anjum Khan said: "The South Asian business community has played a pivotal role in shaping the economic and cultural fabric of this region.

“This campaign is about celebrating those stories — the resilience, the innovation, and the deep-rooted values that continue to drive our members.

“It’s also a reminder of how our heritage continues to influence and inspire the way we do business today."
