Aston Business School’s Executive MBA makes UK top 10 in prestigious rankings
Aston Business School has been named in the top 10 UK schools in the QS Executive MBA rankings 2026.
The programme has achieved the eighth-place ranking in the UK and globally the school ranked 88th, an improvement of one place from 2025.
This is the 10th year that rankings organisation QS has compiled an annual review of Executive MBAs, or EMBAs.
In addition, the business school’s course was ranked 30th globally for career outcomes, placing it overall within the top 25 per cent worldwide.
The rankings are based on the strength of each EMBA’s course offering and this year QS evaluated 215 programmes.
Professor Marian Garcia, executive dean of Aston Business School, said: “We’re delighted to see Aston Business School achieve a top ten ranking in the UK and this reflects the school’s ambitions to achieve impressive international recognition for its educational excellence.
“Our business programmes at Aston University continue to attract excellent candidates from around the world, and these rankings are a testament to our students' success and the quality of our teaching.”
Aston Business School is already part of an elite group of global business schools that hold the gold standard of ‘triple-crown’ accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
It follows an excellent performance in the 2025 Eduniversal Business School Rankings, where it was placed 11th in the UK. In March the EMBA was ranked first in the UK and 12th globally by CEO Magazine.
