Aston University officially launched its London hub this week at an event attended by leaders from across industry, academia and trade bodies.
The new hub will leverage the University’s reputation in science, technology and enterprise to develop future technology and business leaders.
Located at 200A Aldersgate in London, the hub will welcome its first cohort of students in July, offering cutting-edge degree programmes designed to meet the growing demand for skills in innovation and enterprise, digital innovation, data science and artificial intelligence, cyber security management, global business and management, and business analytics.
Aston London is at the epicentre of one of the world’s most vibrant innovation ecosystems.
Surrounded by industry giants such as Adidas, Adobe, Amazon, Deloitte Digital, Monzo, ITV and TikTok, students will benefit from access to exceptional networking opportunities, industry insights and career-launching experiences.
The proximity to key players in technology and business will also enhance the practical learning environment, ensuring that graduates are industry-ready.
The London hub will be operated in partnership with Cambridge Education Group (CEG), a leading provider of higher education services.
This collaboration further strengthens Aston’s commitment to delivering transformative educational experiences that align with the needs of tomorrow’s workforce.
Professor Aleks Subic, Vice-chancellor and chief executive of Aston University, said: “The launch of Aston London marks a pivotal step in positioning Aston University at the centre of London’s dynamic innovation ecosystem.
