Carlos Acosta (pictured), director of Birmingham Royal Ballet, said: “Marianela and Vadim are two of the world stars at the top for their game.

“I believe these dancers will go down in the history books as two of the finest. This is your dance to catch them dancing in their full glory and I 'm proud to bring them to Birmingham ”.

The Times calls Marianela Nuez, 'The best ballerina in Britain ', and Vadim Muntagirov has twice won the Best Male Dancer at the Critics ' Circle National Dance Awards and in 2021 he won Dance Europe 's Outstanding Dancer Award.

The last time the Marianela and Vadim danced with The Royal Ballet, in the UK, outside London was for Hull City of Culture in 2017.
