BBC boss to reveal broadcaster 's future plans during Expo seminar

Delegates at the Greater Birmingham Business Expo this week can get the inside track on the BBC 's plans for the Midlands and other parts of the UK.

Stuart Thomas (pictured), senior head of content production for the BBC in the Midlands, is one of the seminar speakers at this Thursday 's expo, taking place at Villa Park.

Stuart, who is responsible for production of all BBC Local news, audio and digital content across the West and East Midlands, will be discussing the BBC 's Across the UK Strategy.

This includes the relocation of the BBC 's Birmingham operation to Digbeth and the relocation of other elements of the national broadcaster to the UK regions.

The Greater Birmingham Business Expo is Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce 's biggest networking event of the year - with hundreds of delegates and around 80 exhibitors in attendance.

As well as the opportunity to exhibit, make new contacts and showcase services, the Expo also features a seminar programme and speed networking session.

The other Expo seminar will be delivered by England 's most-capped blind footballer Darren Harris on how to overcome adversity.
