Becoming the Change- A Journey Beyond Crowns and Titles

This is more than a personal journey—it’s a reflection of what happens when purpose meets passion. In this story, Rose Marok shares how her path as a psychologist, HR professional, mother, and title-winning pageant queen led her to create a space where women from all walks of life could feel seen, celebrated, and empowered. It’s a story about breaking stereotypes, redefining beauty, and building a platform where real stories matter more than perfection. Whether you’re here to be inspired, to find your place, or simply to learn more—welcome.

In the last few years, whenever I meet people , I often get asked how I “do it all.” The truth is—I don’t. At least not in the way people imagine. Life isn’t a balancing act of perfection; it’s more like dancing through chaos with purpose.

My story started like so many others—trying to fit into boxes I was never meant for. As an aspiring psychologist, HR professional, and mental health awareness worker, my work has always centered around people. I’ve spent years listening—really listening—to many women like myself , who’ve felt unheard, overlooked, or underestimated. At home in Solihull, alongside running a dental practice with my husband and raising two beautiful children, my passion quietly grew into something more.

In 2019, life gave me an opportunity to participate in a pageant and I won the title of Mrs. India U.K. and went on to represent the United Kingdom internationally. It was a moment of pride—but also of reckoning. I didn’t realise the impact this journey had on my personal growth and that realisation stirred something in me. Why were so many incredible women made to feel like they didn’t belong in spaces meant to celebrate womanhood?

That question became the foundation for what I do now.

Today, I have created a platform using non-traditional pageantry program for women who feel they have lost their identity while trying to fit in to the boxes created by the society , for the women , who’ve been told they’re “too much,” “too different,” or “not enough.” Our mission is to encourage, inspire, and empower everyday women—mothers, professionals, survivors, advocates—who don’t fit the conventional pageant stereotype, but who have stories the world needs to hear.

Our queens are not defined by size, shape, skin tone, or background as we believe that beauty comes in all shapes, colour and sizes. They are defined by courage, character, and compassion. They come from various backgrounds ranging from being students, home makers, business woman, mothers and professionals. Many of them are leaders in their communities, working towards social change, and proving that representation in pageantry can look beautifully diverse and deeply real.

This work is personal for me. Whether I’m volunteering with Birmingham Mind, advocating for mental health, or fundraising for cancer research and domestic abuse awareness, my mission remains the same: to lead by example, and to create spaces where everyone belongs.

I’ve been humbled to receive honors like the Inspirational Leader Award at the Vietnam International Awards, an honorary doctorate in humanitarian work, and most recently, an honor from She Awards UK for my work in women’s empowerment. But truly, my proudest moments come when I see a woman step onto our stage for the first time—nervous, unsure, but brave—and walk off standing taller, not because she’s wearing a crown, but because she’s found her voice.

This is more than a pageant. It’s a platform for healing, hope, and purpose.

If any part of this speaks to you—if you’ve ever dreamed of telling your story, standing in your power, or becoming part of a sisterhood that sees and celebrates you—our doors are open.

We’re currently welcoming new participants, supporters, and sponsors who believe in creating change from the inside out.

No pressure. No glam expectations. Just an opportunity to be seen, to serve, and to shine—exactly as you are.
