Birmingham city centre hotel promotes housekeeping supervisor to manager

City centre hotel Staybridge Suites has promoted housekeeping supervisor Christina Costache (pictured) to the position of housekeeping manager.

Cristina has been working in hospitality since June 2021, starting her journey as a housekeeper before moving into a personal assistant role.

In November 2024, Cristina joined Staybridge Suites as a housekeeping supervisor.

Since then, Cristina has developed her leadership skills, gained a deeper understanding of the operation and built strong relationships with her direct team and colleagues.

Cristina said: “I am very excited and proud to have promoted to housekeeping manager. I love that every day is different, and that hospitality gives me the opportunity to learn, grow and challenge myself.

“What excites me most about this new role is the opportunity to lead, develop and inspire my team, continually improve processes and sustainability, and have a greater impact on both the guest experience and the success of the department.”
